Description: For the person who prefers to go on their own! Kauai's rivers are flat and so slow moving that the wind is often more of a factor than the current. Choose from the following areas kayak.
A) Hanalei River - You can be launched from the dock on the Hanalei River, paddle two miles upstream into Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge or one mile downstream to Hanalei Bay. When conditions permit (usually summer) you can venture into the reef-protected area of the bay.
B) Other Rivers - Convenient roof mounting of a rental kayak with foam blocks and straps is available for those who wish to explore other areas (Hulei'a, Kilauea and Kalihiwai).
Kayaks are offered in a Basic package or Deluxe boats, which are longer, faster, more buoyant boats.*
Operates: Pick up times between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
