Hiking - Waipo'o Falls - Kayak Kauai Outbound on Kauai

Description: This hike is 3 miles long and rated as moderate. Features incredible views of the polychromatic Waimea Canyon, fondly called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. At the end of this hike there is the added attraction of a fragrant gingered covered waterfall and pool perched at the edge of the canyon. By this pool is where we end the hike with lunch and pause to enjoy the great quiet. On the way and upon the return be on the lookout for the beautiful flights of the "white tail tropic bird" over the Waimea Canyon and in the forest look for the fragrant "Maile" vine and our native "Koa" trees.*
Operates: Daily: check in 8:00am.
Departure Point: Meet at Kayak Kauai Outbound in the Coconut Marketplace in Kapa'a.
Duration: 3 - 5 hours of trail and 3 hours road time.
Equipment: 15 Passenger vans, water, juices, lunch, rain jackets and packs.
Capacity: Minimum of 2 and maximum of 13 per tour.
Inclusions: Includes a variety of cold fruit juices and bottled waters.
Menu: Sandwich choices: Vegetarian (Taro Humus), Roast Beef or Ham and Cheese; Taro Chips, Pineapple and Kauai Cookie.
