Hiking - Hanakapi'ai Beach - Kayak Kauai Outbound on Kauai

Description: This trail, which is part of the famous NaPali Coast Trail, begins at the end of Hwy 560 at the Ke'e Lagoon. You begin gaining elevation along a garden of coco palms, lianas, and ferns, exotic and native plants. About a half-hour into your journey you will come to the first of many lookouts and vistas of the NaPali Coast with waves breaking below. From here if the conditions are right it is possible to look and see the green sea turtle, humpback whales or dolphins in the distance. Further along you will descend to Hanakapi'ai Beach where you can take a long break for lunch and swim in the stream.*
Operates: Daily: check in at 8:00am.
Departure Point: Meet at Kayak Kauai Shop at 5070-A on Kuhio Highway in Hanalei.
Duration: 6 hours.
Equipment: 15 Passenger vans, water, juices, lunch, rain jackets and packs.
Capacity: 4-13 hikers.
Inclusions: Includes a variety of cold fruit juices and bottled waters.
Menu: Sandwich Choices: Vegetarian (Taro Humus), Roast Beef or Ham and Cheese; Taro Chips, Pineapple and Kauai Cookie.
