Description: Join in for an unforgettable kayak experience. You will be guided deep into a lush tropical rain forest in 1 or 2 person kayaks. Learn the importance of the Wailua River Valley to the Hawaiian culture with professional, experienced and knowledgeable guides. Paddle your kayak through the dense growth of the rain forest, and then embark on a beautiful hike to a magnificent 120 foot waterfall. Swim, explore, play, relax and enjoy this tropical jungle.*
Operates: Monday-Saturday 7:30am or 12:30pm
Departure Point: Check in at the Kayak Shack 4-788 Kuhio Hwy, Kapaa (across from MacDonalds) Departs from Wailua River Marina.
Duration: 5 hours
Equipment: 1 or 2 person kayaks
Capacity: Small groups
Inclusions: Lunch
Menu: A Deli Sandwich: Choice of Turkey, Roast Beef, Ham or Vegetarian, Chips, Fresh Island Fruit, Cookies, Juices and Water.
Exclusions: N/A
*Restrictions: Tour will go rain or shine. This is an outdoor physical activity, but is not strenuous. The kayak portion of the tour is on flat water and the hike is mostly level with some mild terrain. Guest should bring sunscreen, outdoor footwear, swimsuits, sunglasses, and hat.
