Experience the closest views of active lava flow as allowed by Hawaii Civil Defense and National Park Rangers. *

Persons with breathing and heart difficulties, pregnant women, infants, and young children are especially at risk and should consult a health care professional before taking this tour to avoid potential health problems from exposure to fumes. All passengers are required to sign a release of liability form. Currently Civil Defense has closed the Kalapana viewing area during the day. Nature changes so the lava flows, viewing location, and the tour will change accordingly. Wear covered shoes and comfortable clothing, shirts are required.
