Rent-a-Car on the Hawaiian Islands

If your visiting Hawaii you'll most likely want to book a Rent-a-Car, so you'll have the freedom to travel about as you'd like. This is particularly true if your visiting the islands of Maui, the Big Island, Molokai or Kauai where public transportation is not as efficient as on Oahu. Oahu, where Waikiki and Honolulu is located, has great bus transportation services but if you're like me, you'll still want a car to get around on your own time frame. If visiting the neighbor islands, having a rent-a-car is just about a necessity.

There are a number of Rent-a-Car companies on the islands, much as there are on the Mainland but over the years the one I have found to be the most reasonable in price is Dollar Rent-a-Car.
