UFO Parasail - Big Island on Hawaii

Vendor Description: UFO PARASAILING - is available year round on the Big Island. Parasailors are on the boat for approximately one hour with a maximum of six flyers per trip. Participants are winched on and off the boat hydraulically for safe and dry landings. Tandem flights are available with a maximum weight of 350 lbs. depending on wind conditions. PLEASE, NO BAD BACKS OR PREGNANT WOMEN. Participants must be at least 6 years and up weigh at least 130 lbs. to fly alone. Any participant under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian at time of check in. Two, Diesel powered parasail winch boats - 6 Flyers Flights daily from 8:00am to 6:00pm

Description: The Strastospheric Deluxe Parasail Ride goes up to 50 stories above sea level. Singles fly for approximately 10 minutes, Doubles for 12 minutes and Triples for 14 minutes. *
Operates: Daily from 8:00am to 6:00pm
Departure Point: At UFO office across from Kailua Pier, 75-5669 Alii Drive
Duration: Parasailors are on the boat for approximately one hour. Ride time from 10 to 14 minutes and up to 800 feet high.
Equipment: Two, Diesel powered parasail winch boats.
Capacity: A maximum of six flyers per trip.

*Restrictions: Cannot accommodate anyone with chronic back or neck problems; anyone who has ever had previous back or neck surgery; or anyone who is pregnant or thinks she may be pregnant. Participants must be able to walk down the dock and board the parasail vessel with minimal or no assistance. The boats are not wheelchair accessible. Minimum Weight is 130lbs depending on wind strength. Tandem flights are available with maximum weight 450 lbs. depending on wind conditions. UFO has an adjustable tandem bar which will allow side by side tandem rides even though the participant's weights are not the same. New larger Parachutes will accommodate up to 3 people at once which will permit parents and children, 6 and up, to parasail together, again with a maximum weight limit of 450lbs. Any participant under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian at time of check in. Children must be at least 6 years old to parasail. Children 3 and up can go on board as observers at the standard rate.
