Old Lahaina Luau on Maui

Vendor Description: For over 25 years the Old Lahaina Luau has been has been the most well known and respected luau to be offered in Hawaii. The luau is often sold-out many weeks in advance. If you're coming to the islands for a visit this is a "must book early". Although the seating is excellent from any vantage point if you want to sit closer to the stage, or even sit traditional style with legs folded and near the front, your seat placement is dependent upon the date it was booked so this is an additional reason to book early. And will it be worth it? A case could be made, in fact a very good case could be made that the Old Lahaina Luau is not just the very best luau on Maui but in all likelihood the very best luau in all of Hawaii.

And please don't forget that the same quality and thoughtfulness that is put into the nightly performances of the Old Lahaina Luau can also be found in the morning presentation they refer to as Ho'omana'o. If anything on island is a must see for the children, this is it. It really gives all who attend a very "hands on" Hawaiian experience.

Description: If you're coming to the islands for a visit this is a "must book early". The program is informative as well as entertaining; beginning with the Kahiko (ancient) hula accompanied by chanting and ancient style instruments and continuing on to each era in Hawaiian history.*
Operates: Summer Schedule is April 1st to September 30th from 5:45 check in and ending around 8:45pm

Inclusions: All guests are greeted with fresh flower lei, a tropical drink and souvenir program before being escorted to their reserved seats. Guests may gather round, as the Kalua Pig is unearthed from the "IMU ".
Menu: Table Side Service of tossed Kula Green Salad topped with Taro Croutons, served with Papaya Seed Dressing accompanied with Molokai Sweet Rolls, Taro Rolls and Macadamia Nut Butter.
Buffet includes Kalua Roast Pork, Pulehu (grilled) Sirloin Steaks and Chicken, Mahi-Mahi, Sweet Potato, Rice and Fresh Fruits, Banana Bread and Hawaiian Specialties such as Poke, Haupia, Chicken Long Rice and Lomi-Lomi Salmon.
Dessert and coffee are served at the table; assorted island desserts prepared by in-house bakers include Tropical Chocolate Brownies, Fresh Maui Pineapple Tarts, Lilikoi Mousse Cups, Coconut Haupia and Maui Macadamia Nut Tarts.
Open Premium Bar, which will also serve Frozen Tropical Drinks, Sodas and Tropical Punch, will be available throughout the evening.
