Dolphin Excursions on Oahu

Vendor Description: Get wet with the dolphins. Picture this: You're in the water, with a mask and snorkel, surrounded by Spinner Dolphins as they go about their everyday activities. Watch them swimming or playing and if you're lucky, maybe they'll do a spin or a flip just to show you how much fun a dolphin can have! The Waianae Coastline is actually the only spot in Hawaii where you have not only an almost guaranteed likelihood of seeing dolphins but almost as great a likelihood of actually swimming with them as well. Don't be afraid. They like people as much as you like them. Your professional guide will be in the water with you making sure you're safe and making certain that you're not inadvertently interfering with them. This is one of the most fun and educational tours you are likely to take on your vacation and Dolphin Excursions is famous for its return clients who come back to visit year after year. Description: In Water Dolphin Watch and Snorkel Excursion. All excursions are lead by seasoned island naturalist with years of experience on the Waianae Coast. Dolphins are sighted daily year round. Includes dolphin watching and swim 40-60 minutes. Snorkeling, weather permitting at secluded sites teeming with marine life, (turtles and fish) 30-40 minutes. All gear provided. Dolphin sightings are guaranteed or you go again for free. *

Departure Point: Departs from the Waianae Boat Harbor - Hotel pickups, from 9:00 to 9:30am, from the Waikiki area, return to Harbor 2:00pm and to Waikiki 3:30 to 4:00pm.

Equipment: Scarib vessel the "Nai'a I" is 32 feet, has twin 225 four stroke engines (no fumes and very quiet) and hydrophones for listening to the dolphins.

Whale Watch 2:30PM Winter - Dolphin Excursions

Product: Whale Watch 2:30pm from Mid December to Mid March
Description: Afternoon Whale Watching. All excursions are led by seasoned island naturalist with years of experience, on the Wai'anae Coast. Hydrophones (underwater microphones) are also used to listen to the calls of the humpback whales and the dolphins. You will have about two and a half hours of whale watching off the northern Waianae Coast and Kaena Point. Normally there is about a 50/50 chance of seeing Dolphins on this excursion.
Operates: Daily, 2:30pm *
Departure Point: Departs from the Waianae Boat Harbor - Hotel pickups 12:30 to 1:00pm from the Waikiki area, return to Harbor around 5:00pm and to Waikiki 6:30 to 7:00pm.
Duration: 2.5 hour tour
Equipment: Scarib vessel the "Nai'a I" is 32 feet, has twin 225 four stroke engines (no fumes and very quiet) and hydrophones for listening to the dolphins and whales.
Capacity: Must have a minimum of 10 to go, maximum of 30 passengers.
